Spring Fashion: 2014

Spring is here and I'm seriously excited. I love the fashion for spring because its always full of colors, prints and i think its one of the times of the year were you can still pull in some winter style and some summer style the best of both worlds to create an amazing spring look! Here are some of the styles i have been loving for this spring. They are loosely based on the trends that I'm seeing on the catwalk and a lot off just spring itself. Hope you find some inspiration from them!
 Maxi is a Must
This is something that i just live in during the spring/summer, so comfy and you can make them look really stylish with accessories. They are a staple that you can dress up or down depending on what you the occasion.
style a maxi
Floral Anything
The flowers are blooming all around us and i love floral anything including scents this time of year! I love pairing floral pieces with denim.

spring outfits
Simple Jewelry
During the spring its nice to keep it light so i like accessorizing with simple and classic jewelry pieces like pearls, studs and gold!
Gold Bar Necklace, Vertical Bar Necklace,
Soft Colors
Something that i saw a lot of on the catwalk was soft, muted colors. This can be really fun for spring using pastels to lighten up an outfit.
coral maxi and lace top

Black & White
This always seems to be a great spring trend but still so classic. I love black and white, you can never go wrong with it.
Cute Back Tie Stripes Blouse
Fun Sunnies
I love accessorizing with sunglasses they are my go to spring accessory and whether they are your classic pair of cat-eyes or some fun colored sunnies. I love them!

Inner Beauty

Today I wanted to talked about something that I'm very passionate about and truly believe in and that is that beauty come from within. I know this sounds so cliché but I honestly have seen it to be true.

Yes, most peoples version of beauty is mostly an outward appearance and as you all know I'm all about enhancing your natural beauty.  But as I grow more and more I have really come to realize that appearance is just one of the ways in which we can find people to be truly beautiful. Beauty that lasts is not found in clear skin or a good figure some of the most beautiful women I know are the ones who have a passion for life, a smile and a kind heart. They are the kind of people who stay beautiful forever because their beauty is not dependent on looks or defined in clothing, it is shining from their soul. I want to share with you this poem which I love and read over and over. I think it is a beautiful reminder to us all of what beauty really is and where is comes from.

“The beauty of a woman is not in the clothes she wears, the figure that she carries, or the way she combs her hair. The beauty of a woman is seen in her eyes, because that is the doorway to her heart, the place where love resides. True beauty in a woman is reflected in her soul. It's the caring that she lovingly gives, the passion that she shows & the beauty of a woman only grows with passing years.”
                                                                                                     - Audrey Hepburn
Your beauty is not defined in clothing, makeup or even they way your are made, it shines from within.

Ballet Workout

Ok, so I'm kind of obsessed with the Ballet Beautiful workout by Mary Helen Bowers! They are really challenging, interactive workouts that are completely amazing. I really love the way she uses localized ballet exercises that bring noticeable results very quickly.

and I have noticed that I have been building lean, long and strong muscles. I love ballet beautiful for many different reasons so here are a few! Like I said before it brings results but they aren't easily earned the workout is very difficult which I really enjoy but some people might not. After my first swan arms workout the next day my arm felt like very sore jello!

but each time you get stronger and I can do moves I couldn't do last week which is really encouraging for me. I also really like that it is ballet which makes most of the exercises really beautiful. Its like creating beautiful shapes with your body.
and it makes me happy.

if your looking to change up your workout this is a great option!

If you ever talk to be people about working out or running ect. You probably have herd things like you don't need to lose weight? You look great? Isn't it boring? It is just usumed that if you workout you must be unhappy with the way you look and have now resorted the ridiculously crazy thing of putting your body through this horrible cruel and usual punishment called exercise !

But that's not why I workout, I workout to take care of my body not as a punishment for eating to much!

How being positive has changed my life!

Something that I have always struggled with is being positive about myself. When I would look in the mirror I would criticize myself. Thinking negative thoughts about the way I looked. Then when I would be with people I would be really insecure. I would try not to laugh because I didn't like my smile or I'd wear a coat because I though I was to big. Over the past year I have worked really hard to build positivity in the way I look at myself and the amazing world. Instead tarring myself down about the way I look I found ways to embrace my so called flaws. And now they are my highest treasures! Funny how that happens.

Life is so short. Don't waste criticizing yourself and others, there's no point. I now after many hours of practicing have slowly but surly been learning how to embrace the way I look. You were created beautiful and no one can take that away. Right now say three things that you love about your body.

I love my :
Eyes
Smile
and toes (yes, really I do!)

What do you love about yourself let me know in the comments?

Being positive is empowering you will be surprised at how much it will change your life and how much happier you will be as a person. I love taking negative things and finding positive things about them. Remember " The happy girls are the prettiest." - Audrey Hepburn

Enjoy your life to the fullest don't waste another minute criticizing something that is so uniquely beautiful!

This has help me a much happier, healthy and full life. We all struggle with the way we feel some of the most beautiful women are really insure. Its important to build each other up and support others as well as ourselves.

You are Beautiful!
